Butler Butler Funeral Held In Baskin Church Mrs. Tanchie A. Butler died at her home in Baskin early Monday. The funeral was held at the Baskin church at 11 a.m. Tuesday with the Rev. J. H. Keyes, Baptist minister of West Monroe, officiating. Interment was in the Union church cemetery, directed by Mulhearn Funeral home. Mrs. Butler is survived by her husband, J. N. Butler; two sisters, Mrs. J. T. Bass, Crystal Springs, Miss., and Mrs. Claude Smith, West Monroe; and a grandson, Jack Baldwin, West Monroe. Pallbearers were Roderick Duchesne, J. A. Walton, Carl Dear, Harry Mock, Jimmy Woods, Esley Smith and Dr. J. P. Necessity Mrs. Ida Crum, age 55, died last Thursday morning at her home near Ft. Necessity. She is survived by 10 sons, Edgar, James, Ray, Sulu, Thomas, Odell, Huey P., all of Ft. Necessity, and Lonnie, Earl and Nolan who are in the army; one daughter, Mrs. Roda Bass, Ft. Necessity; one brother, Monroe Bass, Oak Grove; one sister, Mrs. Alice McDonald, Oak Grove, and five grandchildren. Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Friday at the Oak Grove Baptist church, with the Rev. Jack Jones officiating. Potter, Jr. Potter Dies at Home Near Winnsboro George W. Potter, Jr., 54, died at his home near Winnsboro Wednesday morning. The funeral was held at Boeuf Prairie church, Fort Necessity, this afternoon, with the Rev. O. L. Tucker officiating. Interment was at White Swan cemetery, with Mulhearn Funeral home in charge. He is survived by his wife; one daughter, Miss Marie Edith Potter; one brother, W. A. Moore, Fort Necessity; one sister, Mrs. W. E. Moore, Sr., Fort Necessity; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W.
