Interment was in the Coax cemetery with the Rev. Talbert officiating. Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro was in charge of the arrangements. Mrs. Clingam is survived by her husband, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Jeter on April 12. Mrs. Jeter was 103 years old. Mrs. Jeter, a frequent vistor of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Evans of Winnsboro, is survived by three sons and one daughter. J. Roland dies of Injuries Monday Robert J. Roland, 14-year old son of Mr. and Mrs. J.R. Roland, of near Liddieville, received fatal injuries when he fell beneath a tractor drawn plow near his home Monday afternoon. The youth is reported to have been riding the tractor when he fell and was caught beneath the wheel of the vehicle and also struck by a plow being drawn behind the tractor. One of his legs was reported as severed from his body. He was rushed to a local clinic but died that night. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Boeuf River Baptist Church with the Rev. T.J. Ratcliff officiating. Interment was in the Liddieville cemetery. Besides his parents, the youth is survived by four brothers, Herman, James and David of Winnsboro and Louis, now stationed in Germany with the U.S. Army, and a sister, Elaine Roland, of Winnsboro. Submitter's note: Spelling of Roland should be Rolen. Robert Jackson Rolen was born June 2, 1934 to the union of James Robert (Rob) Rolen and Alma Mae Williams. Scott of Swampers, who died in a local clinic Tuesday morning. The services were in the Fish Bayou Baptist church with the Rev. C.S. Wroten officiating. Interment was in the Harris cemetery at Swampers. Mr. Scott was 64 years old. Mulhearn funeral home in charge of arrangements. Mr. Scott is survived br his wife, a sister, Mrs. Annie Dunham; three daughters, Mrs. Rachel LaBorde, Mrs. Lowery LaBorde, and Mrs. Nellie Pharr of Natchez; and two sons, J. Leon Scott and Ray Scott, both of Winnsboro. Pallbearers were C. E. Clark, Claude Gordy, J. N. Lee, J. W. Clark, G. F. The Rev. Jessie Hathorne, assisted by the Rev. Ratcliff, officiated. Burial was in the Oglen (sic Ogden) cemetery. Mrs. Searcy is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leona Thorpe of San Antonio,Texas; Mrs. Oscar Cassidy of Crowville and Mrs. J. E. W. Simons of Chase. The Rev. A. C. Trapp officiated. The infant, who died in a Wisner hospital Sunday night, is survived by her parents and one sister, Virginia. J. L. Sittman of Bayou Macon Baptist church officiating. Burial was in the New Winnsboro cemetery. Mrs. Thornhill is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Dora Wactor of Winnsboro and Mrs. Emily Rowland of Houston, Texas, four sons, Almond, Alvia, Cyrce and Yancey Thornhill, all of Winnsboro, and two sisters, Mrs. Sally May of Gilmer, Texas, and Mrs. Jane Thompson of Baton Rouge. ------------------------------------------------------
