The Rev. Jack Jones officiated. The Oak Grove cemetery was the place of interment. The infant is survived by his parents and one sister, Asa. Calhoun officiating. Mr. Fussell was found dead in his bed at his Jigger residence Tuesday night. His death was attributed to a heart attack. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Victoria Grant; one son, David Fussell, Winnsboro; 14 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Final arrangements were under the direction of the Mulhearn Funeral home. The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA May 26, 1949 Submitted Jan. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Former Resident Is Interred at Ogden Isaac King Services were held Monday afternoon in the First National Funeral home chapel here for Isaac King, 80, formerly of Franklin parish, with the Rev. M. S. Robertson, pastor of the Winnsboro First Methodist church, officiating. Burial was in the Ogden cemetery. Mr. King, a member of the Mangham Methodist church, died in a local hospital Saturday morning after a prolonged illness. He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. E. D. Selsmar and Mrs. Thelma Wilson, both of Houston, Texas; three sons, G. H. King, Port Arthur, Texas, and Jake and Clark King, both of Mangham; four brothers, John of Port Arthur, Early of San Marcus, Thad of Tulsa, Okla., and Alzo King, Los Angeles, Cal.; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Bearing the pall were "Dutch" Comeaux, Rob Simons, Billy Duplissey, Luther Lanier, Ollie Carter, and John Williams. Norman, 61, a resident of Rayville, formerly of Franklin Parish, died in her home Monday morning following a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock in the Liddieville Baptist church with the Revs. R. L. Harris and T. J. rector officiating. Interment was in the Ogden Cemetery. Mrs. Norman is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. Theresa Simon, Mrs. Daisy Underwood and Miss Juanita Norman, all of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Geneve Malone, Baton Rouge; five sons, R. J. Powell, Monroe; E. H., R. L., and C. L. Norman, Rayville, and Gene Nathan Norman, U. S. Air Force; three brothers, two sisters, and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers were J. C. N. Russell, Sr., Dies in Hospital; Rites Held Tuesday Funeral services for George N. Russell, Sr., 81year-old resident of Liddieville, were conducted Tuesday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock in the Boeuf River church with the Rev. L. B. Jones, pastor, assisted by the Rev. Tom Ratcliff, officiating. Interment followed in the Ogden cemetery. Mr. Russell, for many years a resident of Franklin, died in a Winnsboro hospital Monday morning about 9 o'clock. He is survived by three sons, John J. Russell, George N. Jr., and Raleigh Russell, all of Franklin; six daughters, Mrs. Lucy Faulk, Mrs. Maggie Searcy, Mrs. Beatrice Hawsey, Mrs. Ollie Riley, Mrs. Bonnie Thomas, all of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Grace Smith, St. Paul, Minn.; 32 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
