Otwell Rites Are Held Thursday Final services were held for E. W. Otwell, 70, Ft. Necessity, who died at his home in the early morning of Wednesday, May 25, after a long illness. Services were held in the Otwell home by the Rev. C. B. Hall, pastor of the Winnsboro Baptist church, at 11 o'clock Thursday morning. Interment followed in the Ogden cemetery. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Dulcie Otwell and Mrs. J. G. Robinson, both of Winnsboro, and five sons, Earnest and Jake of Winsnboro, E. W. Otwell, Jr., Natchitoches, Quinten Otwell, Hattiesburg, Miss., and Guy Otwell, presently a student at the L.S.U. medical school in New Orleans. Pallbearers for the well-known parish resident were B. R. Johnston, Newt Slaughter, Roy Crokes, R. E. Smith Rites for Resident of Liddieville Set T. L. Smith, 66, died Monday after a long illness in his home near Liddieville. Final services were held in the Boeuf River Baptist church at 10 o'clock this morning with the Rev. Louis B. Jones, pastor, officiating. Interment followed in the Ogden cemetery. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Deanie Smith; three sons, A. E., James P. and T. L. Smith, Jr.; two step-sons, O. J. and J. I. Porter; four daughters, Mrs. Seamon Davis and Miss Jeanette Smith, both of Winnsboro, Mrs. J. T. Lonell, Camp Lejeune, N. C., and Mrs. R. F. Wiggins, of Vienna; one brother, John M. Smith, Winnsboro, and 16 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Cecil Russell, Hezekiah Bryant, Otis Ferguson, Ishmael Ingram, Alvin Adams and Newt Williams. The First National Funeral home was in charge of final arrangements. ****************************************************************
