Albritton Dies Final services were held December 17 for Richard Walter Albritton, brother of Mrs. Mary Morris and Mrs. Bertha Keys of Winnsboro. Sixty-nine years of age, he was marshal at Jonesville. His death was in a Natchez hospital December 16. ********************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA January 1, 1953 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Rites for Mrs. Fussell Mrs. Billie Jean Fussell, 21, of Lafayette and formerly of Winnsboro, died after a long illness Christmas day in a Lafayette hospital. The funeral was Saturday at the Oak Grove community church, with the Rev. C. S. Wroten, Baptist minister of Crowville, and the Rev. A. C. Trapp, Chase, officiating. The pallbearers were Guy Peoples, Chester Dosher, T. W. Burlew, J. R. McMorris, Harold Robinson and Freeman Wilson. She is survived by her husband, W. P. Fussell, Jigger, who is a student at Southwestern Louisiana Institute, Lafayette; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Wiggins, Winnsboro; nine brothers, Johnson and Clayton Wiggins, Monroe; Noel, Noah, Henry, Marion, and Stafford Wiggins, all of Winnsboro, and two sisters, Mrs. Peyton Jamieson and Mrs. Leon Netherland, both of Winnsboro. Ingram Dies John Thaddeus Ingram, who died the morning of December 24 in a hospital here, was buried Saturday in Ogden cemetery. The funeral was at the Boeuf River Baptist Church, with the Rev. Buckelew, pastor, in charge of the services. Pallbearers were M. D. Peel, T. J. Martin, Sr., R. M. Turnage, Hardy Johnson, Odis Ferguson and T. J. Martin, Jr. Mr. Ingram, a well-known parish citizen, is survived by: Two daughters, Mrs. Joyce Wiggins, Winnsboro, and Mrs. Effie Snyder, Barstow, Calif.; five sons, Alfred Ingram, Mt. Pleasant, Texas, Bill Ingram of West Monroe, Ishmeal (sic) Ishmael Ingram, Olla, Austin and Curt (sic) Purt Ingram, both of Winnsboro; two brothers, J. J. Jenkins Succumbs Funeral services for W. J. Jenkins who died the night of December 24 in a hospital here, were held Christmas day at the Moss Arbor Assembly of God church, Crowville community, with the Rev. W. B. Owen in charge. Burial, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral home, was in the Crowville cemetery. Fifty-nine years of age, Mr. Jenkins is survived by his wife, Mrs. Jessie James Jenkins; three daughters, Mrs. Harry Underwood, Freeport, Texas, Mrs. Cecile Janaway, Marcele, Ark., Gail Jenkins of Winnsboro; five sons, Hershey Jenkins, Tyler, Texas, Clinton Jenkins of Winnsboro, Elmer, Rogers and Lindsey Jenkins, all of Bastrop; five sisters and seven brothers. Pallbearers were Melton Riser, Alton Riser, Andrew Riser, Shelby McManus, Ben Meredith and Otis Richardson. ************************ The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA January 1, 1953 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Rosier Rites Held Funeral services were held Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church, Winnsboro, for Fred H. Rosier, 36, who died early Tuesday in a Monroe hospital, following a cerebral hemmorhage (sic) hemorrhage. The Rev. Richard J. Swift, the church's pastor, officiated. Burial was at Manifest later Wednesday. Mr. Rosier, who was employed in a local shoe-repair establishment, is survived by two brothers, Carl and Clarence, both of Winnsboro, and a sister, Beatrice Andrews, Ruston. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
