Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday for Marvin Eldridge, 44, who died in a Delhi clinic early today. Interment will be in the Masonic cemetery at Crowville, under the direction of the Mulhearn Funeral home. Mr. Eldridge is survived by his wife, five children, Elbert Eldridge of Houston and Jimmy, Lawrence, Billy, and Kathryn Ruth Eldridge of Winnsboro; one grandson; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John T. Eldridge of Winnsboro; a brother, Ellis Eldridge of Winnsboro, and three sisters, Elsie Eldridge and Mrs. Pearl Hughes of Crowville and Mrs. Ruth Smith of Eunice. Grimshaw, Sr., Funeral Conducted Tuesday Afternoon Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of the First National Funeral home for Walter Eugene Grimshaw, Sr. 82, who died Monday in a local clinic. Rites were conducted by the Rev. J. D. Harvey, and interment was in the New Winnsboro cemetery. Pallbearers were John Martin, Phillip Montogmery, Bert Myers, Charlie Carroll, Robert Parker and Joe Willis. A resident of Winnsboro for approximately 43 years, Mr. Grimshaw is survived by two sons, Columbus and Charlie G. Jones, 69, of Crowville, who died in a Winnsboro hospital Monday. Rites were conducted by the Rev. George W. Stameny, of the Newton Baptist church in Delhi, and interment was under the direction of the Mulhearn Funeral home of Winnsboro. Pallbearers were Ernest Donnell, J. L. Donnell, Thompson Donnell, James R. Donnell, Howard Calhoun and J. B. McGee. Mrs. Jones is survived by her husband, Marlin L. Jones of Crowville; two sons, J. B. Jones of Monroe and R. B. McKinzy Funeral Conducted For Mrs. McKinzy Funeral services were held at the Coax Baptist church at 4 p.m. Monday for Mrs. Ollie A. McKinzy, 85, of Winnsboro, who died in a local clinic, Sunday. Rites were conducted by the Rev. C.B. Hall, assisted by the Rev. Allen Davis, and interment followed in the Coax cemetery under direction of the First National Funeral home. Pallbearers were Archie B. Carraway, Austin Ferguson, Earl Fletcher, Earl Smith, Harold Gentry and T. J. Owens. Mrs. McKinzy is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Allie Guimbellot, Mrs. Bell Glasscock, Mrs. Bonnie Smith and Mrs. Willie Carpenter, all of Winnsboro; nine grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren. -------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA May 21, 1953 Submitted January 2009 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Last Rites Held For Ray Infant Funeral services were held at the graveside in the Coax cemetery at 11 a.m. last Thursday for the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Willard Ray of Winnsboro, who died at birth in a hospital here. The Rev. R. G. Merritt officiated, with the Mulhearn Funeral home in charge of arrangements. Rites were conducted by the Rev. Bobby Brown at the Lone Cedar Baptist church, with interment in the Coax cemetery under the direction of the First National Funeral home of Winnsboro. In addition to her parents, the child is survived by her maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Peavy of Winnsboro; her paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. H.
