Berry 3-14 ins.-- Funeral services were held for Mrs. Mollie T. Berry, 63, at the Assembly of God church near Wisner at 2 p.m. Friday with the Rev. Mr. Swaggart officiating. Interment followed in the Holy Grove cementary under direction of the First National Funeral home. A resident of Wisenr, Mrs. Berry died at her home Wednesday night last week. She is survived by her husband, Sam Berry; a son, Robert Berry; a step- daughter, Mrs. Gertrude Times; a brother Talmus Times and a sister Mrs. Lou Ensminger, all of Wisner. ------------------------------------------ The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA August 13, 1953 Submitted January 2007 by: Glenda Warner Boyd David Fussell, 30, Dies in Beaumont, Buried Near Jena David Fussell, 30, son of Mrs. Geneva Fussell of Jigger and brother of Mrs. Bill Grant of Winnsboro, died in a Beaumont, Texas hospital Monday, July 27 after a lengthy illness. Rites were conducted at the Pine Grove Baptist church at Jena and interment was in the Pine Grove cemetery. Mr. Fussell underwent a serious operation at the Foundation before going to Beaumont. A graduate of Jena High school, he had received all of his education except the last year at Fort Necessity. He was married to Miss Ethel Paul in 1942 and owned a home at Jena, but had been employed in Orange, Texas for the past 10 years.
