Hendry ********************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA July 23, 1959 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Julian T. Hendry Final rites for Julian T. Hendry, 46-year-old resident of 4307 South Grand Street, Monroe, for four years, were conducted at 3:30 p.m. Monday at First National Funeral home chapel. The Rev. A. N. Baum officiated. Mr. Hendry, born October 12, 1912 at Fort Necessity, died at 10:40 a.m. Sunday at his home. He had been ill for some time, suffering with uremia. He was a member of Woodmen of the World, and a wholesale grocery salesman. Survivors of Mr. Hendry are his wife, Mrs. Doris H. Hendry, Monroe; two daughters, Mrs. Carolyn H. Temple, West Monroe, and Miss Linda Faye Hendry, Monroe; a son, Douglas Hendry, Monroe; two brothers, Willie Hendry, Newellton, and Charles Ray Hendry, Jonesboro; and two grandchildren. Pallbearers were Joe Pankey, J. W. McCain, George Allen Price, Jimmie Norris, Ray Temple and Karl P. Bonner. Burial was in Ogden cemetery. Submitter's notes: Julian Theodore Hendry was born October 12, 1911 to the union of David Benjamin Hendry and Eugenia Viola Bruce. He married Doris Gertrude Hawsey October 26, 1936. He died July 19, 1959. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters who died in early childhood, Gencie Rosella Hendry and Audry Lucille Hendry. He was survived by his adopted brother, Charles Ray Hendry. **********************************
