Womack **************************** Submitted by :DeWanna Lindo The Franklin Sun November 3, 1960 Horace Boyette Horace Boyette, brother of Mrs. Paul Williamson of Winnsboro, died November 2 at 6:45 p.m. at a veterans' hospital in Alexandria after a lengthy illness. He was 68 years old, having been born March 10, 1892 in Winn parish. A retired Missouri Pacific employee, he was a veteran of World War I. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First National Funeral home chapel. Survivors in addition to Mrs. Williamson, are; three brothers, C. B. Mosley, Henderson, Tex., Asa Boyette, Kansas City, Mo., and Manuel Boyette, Monroe; and another sister, Mrs. Laura Wilson, Rayville. ************************* Submitted by :Karen Sue McNease The Franklin Sun November 3, 1960 Mrs. Aleida J. Guillot Mrs. Aleida J. Guillot, 93 year old resident of Wisner, died Tuesday morning in a local clinic. She leaves 90 children and grandchildren and a number of great and great great grandchildren.. Services for Mrs. Guillot were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Francis Catholic church, Echo. Interment was in St. Francis Catholic cemetery, Echo. She is survived by six sons, Napoleon and Ernest Guillot both of Gilbert, Lonel Guillot, Wisner, Willno Guillot, Port Allen, Emeric Guillot, Vick and Norman Guillot, Mansura; five daughters, Mrs. Mary Bringol, Winnfield, Mrs. Laura Brown, Alexandria, Mrs. Eunice Dauzat, Marksville, Mrs. Eva Ferguson, Wisner, and Mrs. J. W. Baynard, Port Arthur, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Malissa Bordelon, Ruby, and Mrs. Alziar, Lacombe, Alexandria; a brother Threzmore Juneau, Hessmer; 79 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. ********************************** Obituary: Mrs. C. Tucker of Gilbert were conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Methodist church in Gilbert. The Rev. Roland Friedrich, former Gilbert Methodist minister, and the Rev. Rouse officiated. A member of Franklin parish's pioneer Osborne family, Mis' Kate, as she was affectionately known by the many in whom she took a lively interest, was born July 11, 1881 in Tensas parish. She was a charter member of both the First Methodist church of Gilbert and of Mizpah chapter No. 15, Order of Eastern Star, Winnsboro. She currently belonged to Eloise chapter No. 76, OES. Death came to Mis' Kate on November 6 in a local rest home after a brief illness. Special services for Mrs. Tucker were conducted by the Eastern Star. Interment was in Ward cemetery. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Audrey Duchesne, West Monroe, and Mrs. Marie Brocato, Gilbert; two sons, John Curtis Tucker, Roanoke, Va., and William Tucker, Mexico City, Mex.; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Pallbearers were Richmond Hanks, William Latham, Norman Hewitt, Marion Shelton, W.A. (Mary Elizabeth) Womack died at the age of 65 years on November 4, in the St. Francis hospital, Monroe. She was a member of the Holly Grove Baptist church. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in Sardis Baptist church, with the Revs. James Brown and Joe Mongle officiating. Interment was in Ogden cemetery. Survivors of Mrs. Womack are her husband, W. G. Womack, Wisner; two daughters, Mrs. Earline Strong, Natchez, Miss., and Mrs. Odessa Ellerbe, Winnsboro; two sons, J. B. Womack, Winnsboro, and Johnny Womack, Natchez; three sisters, Mrs. L. L. Thomas, Shreveport, Mrs. Meddy Stringer, Dallas, and Mrs. C. C. Woods, Ruston; five brothers, J. W. and Henry Warner, both of Winnfield, George Warner, Winnsboro, and Arnold and Lee Warner, both of Wisner; and eight grandchildren.
