Mrs. Annie B. Dempsey
 
Mrs. Annie B. Dempsey, 74, of Winnsboro died June 16, 1963, at Rogers clinic. She was born 
in Mississippi and a member of the Temple Baptist church.
 
Funeral services were held at Temple Baptist church at 10 a.m., June 18, with the Rev. Joe Mongle, 
assisted by the Rev. Paul Kolb, officiating. Burial was at Ogden cemetery.
 
Survivors are sons, Hubert Dempsey, Winnsboro, Huey Dempsey, San Diego, Calif.; three daughters, 
Mrs. Gertrude Holloway, Edenburg, Tex., Mrs. Catherine Thomas, Winnsboro, Mrs. Dorothy Williams, 
Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Barysee Dempsey, Louisville, Miss.; 15 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Purnell Williams
 
Mr. Purnell Williams, 73, of Jigger died May 31, at a Monroe hospital. Funeral 
services were held at Jigger Pentecostal church Sunday with the Revs. Jack James and 
Mack Walker officiating. Interment was at Ogden Cemetery.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ollie Gorden Williams, Jigger, daughter, Mrs. Nora Mendoza, 
New Orleans and three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
