Osborn Monroe Rollen ********************************************** Submitted by: DeWanna Robinson Lindo Lawrence A. Osborn Funeral services were conducted for L. A. Osborn, 85, who died in a Winnsboro Hospital November 3, 1963. The Revs. J. D. Thornhill and C. T. Smith officiated at the services which were held in the Crowville Baptist Church at 2:30 p.m., November 4. Born October 3, 1878, Mr. Osborn was a lifelong resident of Rt. 1, Winnsboro and a farmer. Interment followed in the Crowville Masonic Cemetery. Mr. Osborn is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nina H. Osborn; Winnsboro; two sons, James W. Osborn, Winnsboro and Don Osborn, Monroe; one daughter-in-law, Mrs. Alvin Osborn, Monroe; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. The Revs. Meredith Hair and Carl Bennett conducted the services which were held in Boeuf River Baptist Church at 3:30 p.m., November 3. Born December 10, 1918, Mr. Rollen was a retired farmer and public worker. Interment followed in Ogden Cemetery. Mr. Rollen is survived by his wife, Mrs. Olean Rollen; two sons, Clarence Edward and Ronnie Rollen, Winnsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Antley, Pineville, Mrs. Ester Howard, Monroe, Mrs. Ruth Ingram, Winnsboro; seven brothers, Woodroe, Cotton Valley, Lloyd, Monroe, William C., Spring Hill, Marshall, Denver, Colo., Douglas, Winnsboro, Jerry, Winnsboro and Henry P., Winnsboro; his father, Henry Rollen, Winnsboro and his step-mother, Mrs. Mabel Rollen, Winnsboro. Pallbearers were Pete Wiggins, Faye Wilson, A. B. Hicks, Howard Brown, Jeff Hawsey and J. A. Ingram. ********************************************************
