Mrs. G. W. Delaney
Last rites were held Monday afternoon for Mrs. Rosie Pollard Delaney,
76, of Winnsboro, at Temple Baptist Church here and Providence
Memorial Park Cemetery near here. The Rev. Mack Walker and the 
Paul Kolb conducted the services.
Mrs. Delaney, who had been ill for a long time, died Sunday at the
residence of a daughter in Sicily Island.
She is survived by her husband, G. W. Delaney, Winnsboro; two
sons, J. B. Delaney, Monroe, and Clyde J. Delaney, Ferriday; three
daughters, Mrs. Ruth Wells of Sicily Island, Mrs. Bill Wactor, New 
Orleans, and Mrs. William McKay, Winnsboro; a brother, Dan Pollard,
Winnsboro; 22 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Herman Faulk, 65, of Winnsboro, who died unexpectantly Monday in a hospital here, was buried Tuesday 
afternoon in the Ogden Cemetery. Funeral services were held at the Boeuf River Baptist Church, with the 
Rev. T. Davis and the Rev. Perry Kent officiating.
A native of Winnfield, Mr. Faulk had been a resident of Franklin Parish for a number of years.
Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Lucy Russell Faulk, Winnsboro; two sons, George Ray Faulk and Herman Russell Faulk, 
both of Winnsboro; a daughter, Mrs. Lynn Eubanks, Winnsboro; a brother, A. C. Faulk, Columbia, and a sister, 
Mrs. Bessie Hawsey, Winnsboro.

Submitter's note: Herman Faulk was born on July 3, 1901 to the union of William Jasper Faulk and 
Faydine "Fadie" Lawrence. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Lessie Lee Faulk Johnson.
