Mr. Foy had lived in Franklin Parish until about 13 years ago when he moved to south Louisiana. He was living here when he was inducted into service during World War II. He has numerous relatives and friends here. The Foy family was traveling north on Magnolia Street when the auto went across Sulphur Avenue onto the West Lake Junior High School Campus and crashed into a tree at about 6 p.m. Exact cause of the mishap was not immediately determined, but it was believed the accelerator on the car stuck, sending it out of control. Mrs. Foy was treated for shock and minor injuries. The three Foy sons, Tommy, 13, Leroy, 10, and Scotty, 7, were treated for multiple cuts and abrasions and x-rayed for possible fractures. ********************************************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA December 8, 1966 Vol. 110 No. 19 Page 7 Submitted by: Glenda Boyd James Louis Parker Funeral services for James Louis Parker, 64, were held at 10 a.m. Monday at Crowville Baptist Church with the Revs. C.
