Wilton Turnage
 
Funeral services for Wilton "Will" Turnage, 55, of Winnsboro, were held December 23 at Boeuf River Baptist Church 
with the Revs. Meredith Hair and Harold Davis officiating. Burial was in Ogden.
 
He died in Homestead, Fla., December 21, 1966 after a brief illness.
 
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Barbara Underwood, Homestead, Fla.; his mother, Mrs. Evie Turnage, 
Winnsboro; three brothers, Marshal and Price Turnage, Winnsboro, and Bud Turnage, Shreveport; three sisters, 
Mrs. Mike Jennings, Winnsboro, Mrs. Raymond Simeanoux, Woodville, Tex., and Mrs. Willard White, Ruston.
 
Pallbearers were Cecil Russell, Milton Albritton, Kirby Lee, Harvey Davis, Ira Parks and J. C. Johnston.
 
Submitter's note: Wilton M.Turnage was born March 20, 1911 in Marion County, MS. He married Bonita Hawsey 
on December 19, 1931. He was preceded in death by his father, Julius Rastus Turnage.
