The Rev. Son Braswell and the Rev. Jack Jones were to officiate at the rites. Mrs. Fussell, who had been ill for a long time, died Tuesday at the Winnsboro Sanitarium. She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. W. D. Grant, Gilbert; a son, Morris Fussell, Jigger; a sister, Mrs. Jo Anna Bruce, Rayville; 16 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. -------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA October 31, 1968 Submitted August 2009 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mrs. Onie Harper Last rites were conducted Monday afternoon at Crowville for Mrs. Onie E. Harper, 92, of Sarepta, who succumbed to a long illness Saturday at her home. The funeral was at the Crowville Baptist Church, with the Rev. Guy Murphy, officiating, and interment was in the Crowville cemetery. Mrs. Harper is survived by three sons, William O. Harper of Ravenden, Ark., Quillie N. Harper, Cheverloi, N. Y., and Noel B. Harper, Sarepta; a daughter, Mrs. Edgar Speiden, Bloomfield, N. J.; a brother, Dudley N. May, Columbia; 11 grandchildren; 24 great- grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild. ------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA October 31, 1968 Submitted Jan. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Eighty-two year old Henry Jones of Winnsboro died Wednseday afternoon at the home of a son near Ft. Necessity. His wife, Mrs. Alma Jones, had died Sunday and was buried Tuesday. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Pine Prairie Assembly of God Church, and burial will be in the Ogden Cemetery. The Rev. Jimmy Shepherd, the Rev. W. L. Fussell and the Rev. R. J. Finely will conduct the services. Mr. Jones is survived by two sons, Hoyette Jones, Winnsboro and Theodore Jones, Ft. Necessity; a daughter Mrs. Mamie White, Winnsboro; a brother, Sam Jones, Monroe; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
