Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today at Boeuf River Baptist Church with the Rev. Harold Davis officiating, assisted by the Rev. Jimmie Shepherd. Burial willl be in Ogden Cemetery. Survivors include two sons, Harold Brown of Winnsboro and Leroy (sic) Lee Roy Brown of Baskin; three daughters, Mrs. Mattie Mae Gill of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Hilda Raymond (sic) Richmond and Mrs. Katheryn McMurray, both of Winnsboro; one brother, Clifton Brown of Natchez, Miss.; five sisters, Mrs. Lena Wallace of Bogue Chitto, Miss., Mrs. Ethel Wallace of Summitt, Miss., Mrs. Matt Coker of Fernwood, Miss., Mrs. Vina Garner of Monroe and Mrs. Trudy Brown of D'Lo, Miss.; 19 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. ************************************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 20, 1969 Submitted Jan. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mrs. Avert Erskin Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Susan Erskin, 76, who died early Tuesday at St. Francis Hospital in Monroe. The Rev. Nathan Henderson, Jr., officiated at Mulhearn Chapel here, with burial following in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Avert Erskin; a daughter, Miss Mary Lou Erskin; two sons, Durham Erskin and " Buddy" Erskin, all ot Winnsboro; a brother, "Bud" Trapp of Darnell; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. **********************************
