Albritton, 70, of Winnsboro, died at his residence Saturday evening after a brief illness. Funeral services were held Monday in the New Zion Baptist Church near here with the Rev. Tom Parker officiating, assisted by the Rev. E. T. Spence. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Beatrice H. Albritton of Winnsboro; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hitt of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Lucy Jean Lawrence of Monroe; one son, Carl Andrew Albritton of Vicksburg, Miss.; one sister, Mrs. Wealtha McDonald of Columbia; and four grandchildren. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA June 26, 1969 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd John Harr John Harr, 70, of Winnsboro, died Monday afternoon in St. Francis Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in First National Funeral Home Chapel of Winnsboro with Dr. Randall Sledge officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Thelma Harr of Winnsboro; three sons, Hebert Harr and Edward Haar, both of Winnsboro, and Billy John Harr of Natchez, Miss.; one daughter, Mrs. Feldridge Boyette of Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Griffin of Monticello, Miss.; and six grandchildren. Earl L. Jones officiating. Burial followed in Ogden Cemetery near Winnsboro. Mr. Hayles died in E. A. Conway Hospital Thursday after a long illness. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Marie Davidson of California; one son, Ed Hayles, Jr., of California; four sisters, Mrs. Dossie Jones and Mrs. J. Y. Fowler, both of Winnsboro, Mrs. G. W. Craven of Eudora, Ark. and Mrs. J. S. Shelton of Montgomery; four brothers, W. T. Hayles of Vidalia, J. F. Hayles of Corpus Christi, Tex., E. B. Hayles of Springdale, Ark. and John A. Hayles of California; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren. ********************************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA June 19, 1969 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mrs. McLemore Funeral services for Mrs. Quinton McLemore, 45, of Winnsboro, were held in First Baptist Church of West Monroe at 5 p.m. Monday with Dr. Clifton Tennison officiating, assisted by the Rev. Clarence Young and Dr. Jaroy Weber. Burial was in the Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe. Mrs. McLemore died in the St. Francis Hospital Saturday night after a short illness. She was the wife of Quinton McLemore, a prominent area businessman who operates a chain of retail grocery outlets in the Winnsboro-Delhi area and is owner of a shopping center in West Monroe. Mrs. McLemore was a native of Frisco City, Ala., and was a member of the First Baptist Church of West Monroe. Other survivors include two sons, Roger Randall McLemore of Baton Rouge, and Oscar Sidney McLemore of Winnsboro; four daughters, Misses Mary Ann, Martha Jan, Margaret Sue and Nancy Lynn McLemore all of Winnsboro; her mother, Mrs. Oscar McNeal of Frisco City, Ala.; four brothers, Leighton McNeal of Frisco City, Ala., Albert McNeal of Birmingham, Ala., Charles McNeal of Mobile, Ala., and Felix McNeal of Baton Rouge. ******************************************
