Paul Kolb officiating. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Chevallier died Friday, June 14, 1996 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. She was a resident of Winnsboro, a homemaker, and a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, Johnny and Alice Scruggs; husband, Ernest M. Chevallier; daughter, Elaine Bowman; son-in-law, A.J. Chapman; grandsons, Terry Chapman, James Ernest Chapman, Bobbie Joe Chevallier, David Mitchell Chevallier, and granddaughter, Connie Emfinger. Survivors include her children; J.E. Chevallier, Bobby Chevallier, Ernest Chevallier Jr., Lucille Chapman, Gladys Gill, Christine Shank, James Chevallier, all of Winnsboro; Glenda Hilbun and Ralph Chevallier, both of Baton Rouge; one sister, Gladys Howard, Ferriday; one brother, George Scruggs, Clayton; grandchildren, Duane, Karen, Carla Chevallier; Mike, Betty, Lori Bowman; Patricia Chevallier; Pat, Mike, Debra, Donna Chevallier; Barry, Jimmy Dale, Sheila Gill; Kevin Tyeece; Pam Emfinger; Earl Shank; Theresa, Nancy Hulbun; Tanya, Tana, Tony Chevallier; also a host of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mr. Eubanks died Saturday, June 22, 1996 at Franklin Medical Center after an extended illness. He was a resident of Winnsboro, retired from the United States Army having served during WWII and Korea. Survivors include a brother, Theodore Eubanks, Rayville; cousins, nieces and nephews. Donnie Cooper and the rev. Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment followed at Kings Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Homeof Winnsboro. Mrs. Simms died Thursday, June 20, 1996 at Southern Oaks Living Center in Wisner after an extended illness. She is a resident of Wisner and a homemaker. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Sue King, Wisner; one grandson Jason King, Wisner, one sister Barbara Ferrington, Wisner.
