Madden Robert Walker ********************************************** OBITUARY: Ruby Mae DICKERSON GUIMBELLOT Submitted by: Doug McBroom June 2015 SOURCE: The Monroe News-Star, Monroe LA, 20 Feb 1970 (Friday) Headline: Mrs. Guimbellot Winnsboro (Special) — Mrs. Ruby Mae Guimbellot, 81, of Winnsboro, died at 10:30 p.m. Thursday in Rosalee Nursing Home at Wisner after a long illness. Funeral services are incomplete, but will be announced by First National Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Survivors include six sons, Vern Guimbellot and Tallie Guimbellot, both of Winnsboro, Leon Guimbellot of Alexandria, Louis Guimbellot of Rayville, Leo Guimbellot of Lake Charles and Henry Guimbellot of Richardson, Tex.; two daughters, Mrs. Allie Odom of Lake Charles and Mrs. Jeanette Vialo of Houston, Tex.; one brother, Garrison Dickerson of Bastrop; two sisters; 52 grandchildren and 48 great-grandchildren. ................................ Madden, 74, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the First United Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Floyd Hawthorne and J. A. Hawthorne officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery. Mr. Madden, organizer of the First United Pentecostal Church died in a Monroe hospital Monday afternoon after a long illness. He was a native of Winnsboro. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Bessie Madden of Winnsboro; one son, L. F. Madden, of Houston, Tex.; one brother, J. Y. Madden of Lufkin, Tex.; and six grandchildren. Pallbearers were Leo Nichols, Mason Hawthorne, Sim Welch, Edward Welch, W. E. Young and Charles Winborne. *********************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 5, 1970 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Robert Walker Robert Henderson Walker, 92, of Winnsboro, died at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday at King's Guest Home following a long illness. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel of First National Funeral Home with the Revs. Perry Kent, Andrew Taylor, Boyette Bradford, and James Folds officiating. Burial was in Ogden Cemetery. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Oma Whatley, Mrs. Pearl Simmons and Mrs. Mearle Coco, all of Winnsboro; two sons, Randall A. Walker Sr. and Ted T. Walker, both of Winnsboro; 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
