Conrad Funeral services for Edgar Lee Conrad, 74, of Archibald, were to be at 2 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Archibald. The Revs. J. C. Harvey, E. N. Weaver, Gayle Dean and Henry McElhane officiated. Burial was in Gwinn Cemetery at Mangham. He died Wednesday at Winnsboro Sanitarium after a lengthy illness. Mr. Conrad, a retired farmer, was a native of Smith County, Miss. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maggie Conrad; a daughter, Mrs. Aline Hill, both of Archibald; three sisters, Mrs. Leona Bowman of Holly Ridge, Mrs. Ida Toney of Rayville and Mrs. Ophelia Lowery of Start; a brother, Johnny Conrad of Rayville; one grandson and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Hollis Walters, Billy McCollough, Tom Hill, James Adcock, Fred Smith and Dewey Hutson. Nephews were honorary pallbearers. ---------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA May 18, 1972 Submitted February 2009 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mrs. Sarah Otwell Mrs. Sarah "Pink" Otwell, 93, of Winnsboro, died Tuesday at King's Sanitarium in Winnsboro after a long illness. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. today at Fort Necessity Baptist Church with the Rev. Bennie Alford officiating. Burial will be in Ogden Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Dulcie Otwell and Mrs. Lillie Robinson, both of Winnsboro; five sons, Jake Otwell and Ernest Otwell, both of Winnsboro, Ele Wayne Otwell of Natchitoches, Dr. Guy Otwell of Port Allen and Quinton Otwell of Hattiesburg, Miss.; one brother, Walter Zeagler of Rosefield; one sister, Mrs. Catherine Otwell of Extension; 14 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. ----------------------------------------------------- Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd The Franklin Sun May 18, 1972 Mrs. West F. (Ninnie) McPhail Williamson Mrs. Williamson Mrs. C. S. (Ninnie) McPhail Williamson, 81, of Baskin died Wednesday evening of last week in Franklin Parish Hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Baskin Baptist Church with burial at Coax Cemetery. She was a native of Prentiss, Miss., and had been a resident of Franklin Parish for 55 years. She was a member of Baskin Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Clifton S. Williamson of Winnsboro; three sons, S. W. Williamson of Winnsboro, Alton Williamson of Marshall, Tex., Ray K. Williamson of Mobile, Ala.; one daughter, Mrs. John (Alma) Rea Nicosia of Lake Charles; one sister, Mrs. Clara MaGee of Mt. Olive, Miss.; two brothers, Jim McPhail, and Walton McPhail both of Prentiss, Miss.; 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were W. B. Scriber,Henry E.
