Faulk Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 25, in the chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home for Wilburn William Faulk, 60, of Winnsboro. The Rev. Jack Mulkey officiated. Interment was in the new Ogden Cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lola Faulk of Winnsboro; three daughters, Mrs. Sybil Ratcliff, Jena; Mrs. T. J. Martin, Gilbert; Mrs. Roger Thornton, Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Plinnie Bowlin, Mangham; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bobby Ratcliff, Danny Joe Ratcliff, Larry Ratcliff, Gary Martin, Johnny R. Thornton, Bobby Hart, Larry Riley and George Faulk. Submitter's note: Wilburn Faulk was born April 4, 1897 in Winn Parish. His parents were John Wesley Faulk and Lourenia "Lou" Southern who married in Jackson Parish on August 17, 1893. He died February 24, 1973. Moore Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 25, for Arthur Alsop Moore, 78, of Ft. Necessity. Services were held at 2 p.m. in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Fort Necessity, with the Rev. Daniel Corkery officiating. Interment was held in the Fort Necessity Baptist Cemetery. Mr. Moore, a life-long resident of Fort Necessity was a retired farmer, a veteran of W.W.I and a member of the V.F.W. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lessie McCarty Moore, Fort Necessity; one son, Dr. Harold Moore, Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Johns, Homer and Mrs. Francis Price, Big Spring, Tex.; two step-sons, Billy Collins, Baton Rouge; Johnny Collins, Baton Rouge; five step-daughters, Mrs. Mary Lyvonne Clarkson, Delhi; Mrs. Elsie Worthen, Mansfield; Mrs. Willie Earl McNamor, Los Angeles, Calif.; Mrs. Patsy Miller, Jacksonville, N.C.; Mrs. Shirley Shelby, Taylorsville, Miss.; and a number of grandchildren. *******************************************
