Faulk ********************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA December 19, 1974 Submitted September 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Bob Barefield Funeral services were held Sunday for Robert M. (Bob) Barefield, 72, of Winnsboro at the chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home with Rev. Lowry Russell and the Rev. Gene Brown officiating. Burial was in the South Central Cemetery in Wisner. He died Friday at the Caldwell Parish Hospital. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Johnnie Mae Barefield of Winnsboro; six sons, J. B. Barefield, Jigger, Raymond Barefield of Tucson, Ariz., Carl Barefield of West Monroe, George Barefield of Monroe, Russell Barefield and Robert Barefield, both of Winnsboro; five daughters, Mrs. Mamie Diamond, Mrs. Emma Glasscock, Mrs. Lottie Corbin and Miss Linda Barefield, all of Monroe and Mrs. Betty Peterson of Norwood; a sister, Mrs. Bessie Anders (sic Anderson) of Winnsboro; 24 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. C. Faulk Funeral services were held Sunday for A. C. Faulk, 68, of Monroe at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with Rev. K. D. Mills and Thomas Parker officiating. Burial was in the Hebert Cemetery under the direction of the Riser and Son Funeral Home. He died last Thursday following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his widow, Lou Ella Faulk of Monroe; five daughters, Mrs. Nellie Ainsworth, Mrs. Lessie Gosdin, Mrs. Estelle Brown and Miss Lou Ann Faulk all of Monroe and Mrs. Ellen Moseley of Columbia; five sons, Douglas Faulk, Benny Ray Faulk, Brent Faulk and Elvis Faulk all of Monroe and Jay Faulk of Cody, Wyoming; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Hawsey of Winnsboro; and 17 grandchildren. **************************************
