Bailey, 69, of Winnsboro were held in the chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home on Sunday, Aug. 31 at 3 p.m. Interment was in Riverview Cemetery with Rev. Stanley Fortenberry officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Wilma Bailey, Winnsboro; 1 son, Aubrey M. Bailey Jr., Elkins, W. Va.; 1 daughter, Mrs. Charmane Cullen, Parkersburg, W. Va.; 1 step-daughter, Mrs. Sandra Reese, Alexandria; 1 foster son, John Smith, Winnsboro; 1 sister, Mrs. Lula Bush, Weston, Va.; 7 grandchildren and 4 step-grandchildren. Mr. Bailey was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows and a member of the Winnsboro Lodge No. 246 F & AM. Masons served as pallbearers. Wilson Billy Ray Wilson, 34, former resident of Winnsboro, was found slain in his home Saturday afternoon in Baton Rouge, according to recent news reports. Wilson was reportedly found shot to death in a bedroom of the home by his wife and children. Investigations are said to be continuing in the case. Wilson was a contractor co-ordinator. He attended Northeast Louisiana University and was a former member of the Winnsboro Lions Club and the Winnsboro Civitan Club. Services were held Monday in the LSU Rabenhorst Funeral Home of Baton Rouge with the Rev. Don Tabb officiating. Graveside services were held at 3 p.m., in the Myrtle Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro with Rev. Joe Mongle and Rev. Bailey Phelps officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mrs.Sarah Emerick Wilson, two daughters, Tasha and Tamra Wilson; one son, Mark Ray Wilson, all of Baton Rouge; his mother, Mrs. Mary Wilson of Winnsboro; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Bessie Davis of Winnsboro; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. T.P. Wilson of Fayetteville. Pallbearers for the service were Vernon Long, B.C. Wilson, Jr., Franklin Clay, Herbert Davis, Glyn Doyle Pitman, Joe C. Herring. ***********************************************
