Funeral services for Elizabeth Adams, 93, of Winnsboro were 
held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 14th, in Boeuf River Baptist 
Church with Dr. Randall Sledge officiating.
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro
First National Funeral Home.
Survivors include one son, H. M. "Jack" Wood, Winnsboro; one 
daughter, Mrs. Pauline Hammons, Winnsboro; one sister,  Mrs.
Ada Cannon, West Monroe; two brothers, L. D. Martin, West Monroe,
and Joe C.Martin, Jonesboro, 3 step-sons, Elvin Adams, Winnsboro,
Horace Adams, Texas, and Ezra J. Adams, Natchitoches; 17 
grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church and a member of
the Eastern Star.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.

Mrs. Chevallier
Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Herring Chevallier, 25, 
of Winnsboro were held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 27th, 
in Lone Cedar Baptist Church with Rev. Marvin 
Rieger and Rev. Bobby Brown officiating.
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of 
Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
She was a member of the Lone Cedar Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Joe Chevallier, 
Winnsboro; two daughters, Kimberly Beth Chevallier, 
and Kresta Lee Ann Chevallier, both of Winnsboro; her parents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Luther Herring, Winnsboro; two sisters, 
Mrs. Elaine Mullican, Winnsboro and Mrs. Helen Morrison, 
Swartz; two brothers, Clifton Herring, Columbia, S. C., 
and Bobby Herring, Winnsboro.
Pallbearers were Yeager Woolridge, Kenny Wayne Simon, 
Bonner Woolridge, Donald Womack, Ralph Womack, 
Marvin Scriber, Newt Slaughter, and Terry Hatton.

Funeral services for Miller Ford Glass, 62, of Newellton, were held
at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 14th, in Jigger Apostolic church with 
Rev. Charles Parker and Rev. J. R. Masters officiating.
Interment was in Providence Memorial Park under the direction of
Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruth Glass, Newellton; five sons, 
Joseph Glass, Archibald, Carlos Glass, Mounds, George Glass, 
Tallulah, Dennis Glass, Jigger, and Teddy Glass, Newellton; six
daughters, Mrs. Harold Martin, Newellton, Mrs. Hattie Brown, 
Newellton, Mrs. Dixie Moreau, Baton Rouge, Mrs. Linda Barksdale,
Albany, Miss Sheryl Glass, Newellton, Mrs. Donna Fowler, Gilbert;
two brothers, Klinger Glass, Eureka, Calif.; and Sam Glass, Arcadia, 
Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Josie Henry, Ft. Worth, Tex., and Mrs. 
Frank Eskew, Fresno, Calif., and 17 grandchildren.
He was a member of the Pentecostal Church.

Floyd Hargrave
Funeral services for Floyd Denton Hargrave, 56, of Winnsboro, were 
held at 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 16th, in Temple Baptist Church with
Rev. Joe Mongle officiating.
Interment was in Providence Memorial Park under the direction of 
Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
He was the owner of Floyd's Leathercraft Wholesale, member of 
Temple Baptist Church, resident of Franklin Parish for 40 years.
Survivors include three step-sons, Jerry Bozeman, Delhi, Bobby 
Bozeman, Shepherd, Tex., Roger Bozeman, Winnsboro; one
step-daughter, Mrs. Wanda Westbury, Baton Rouge; one brother, 
F. A. Hargrave, Crosby, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Savannah Taylor,
Normangee, Tex.; and 3 step-children.
Pallbearers were Fred Marshall, Cecil Brown, J. B. Smith, Arthur
Davis, Rogers Young, and Ted Smith.

Funeral services for Rev. Joseph Albertson Rogers, 69, of Winnsboro were held at 2:30 p.m., July 25th in the 
Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Interment was in Holly Grove Cemetery with Rev. Ramon Warren officiating.
He was a native of Lexington, Miss., and a retired baptist minister having served as pastor in Temple Baptist 
Church in Temple City, Fla., and Brentwood Baptist Church in Brentwood, Calif.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eunice McGehee Rogers, Winnsboro; three sisters, Mrs. Sue Rider, Montana, 
Mrs. Pearl Simuelson, Houston, Miss., and Mrs. Gertie Yates, San Diego, Calif; three brothers, John Rogers and 
Jackson Rogers, both of Los Angeles, Calif., and Dr. Gordon Keith Rogers, Memphis, Tenn., and a number of nieces 
and nephews.
Pallbearers were James Harvey Haring, Pete Haring, Frank Haring Sr,. Frank Haring Jr., Tommy Haring and Carl Haring.
Honorary pallbearers were Victor Russell, Clyde Seibel and John A. Jackson.

Funeral services for O. J. Sikes, 52, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m., 
Sunday July 11th, at Bayou Macon Baptist Church, near Winnsboro with 
Rev. Terry Traxler officiating.
Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn 
Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Elizabeth Sikes of Winnsboro; two daughters, 
Mrs. Vickie Huff, and Miss Sandra Sikes, both of Winnsboro; two step-daughters, 
Mrs. Dianne Cassels and Miss Lynn Hitt, both of Winnsboro; two step-sons, Ronald Hitt 
and Raymond Hitt, both of Winnsboro; his father, Brownie N. Welch of Winnsboro; 
four brothers, Noah Welch, Winnsboro, Dennis R Welch, Winnsboro, Billy F. Welch, 
Winnsboro, and James Thurman Welch of Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Alice Temple, 
Winnsboro, and Mrs. Helen Morrison of Monroe. 
Pallbearers were Sonny Sutterfield, Larry Grisson, Kenny Martin, Don Sebren, 
Rev. J. W. Allen, and Bill Netherland.
