Kenneth Lukens and Rev. Emmett Belgard officiating. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Leola W. Brown, Winnsboro; one son, Enoch A. Brown Jr., Omaha, Neb.; one daughter, Mrs. Eros Whitsel, Ferriday; one sister, Mrs. Mattie Roark, Olla; two half-sisters, Mrs. Ruth Lakota, Chicago, Ill., and Mrs. Edith Burnett, East Hazel Crest, Ill.; and 4 grandchildren. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA July 5, 1978 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Lydia Haag Funeral services for Miss Lydia Haag, 57, of Winnsboro were held June 28th, at Radney Funeral Home of Mobile, Ala. Local arrangements were under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment was in Mobile Memorial Gardens. E. "Lige" Richardson Funeral services for J. E. "Lige" Richardson, 94, of Winnsboro, were held at 4:30 p.m., June 28th in the Boeuf River Baptist Church with Rev. Alfred Garvin and Father Daniel Corkery officiating. Interment was in Old Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Survivors include four sons, T. N. Richardson and Curtis Richardson, both of Houston, J. E. "Jiggs" Richardson Jr., Winnsboro and James J. Richardson, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Mrs. Thelma Wall, Winnsboro and Mrs. Artie McDonald, Zachary; 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; one brother, Dudley Richardson, New Orleans; two sisters, Ceree Slaughter, Monroe and Idella Smith, Jena. He was a native of Newport, and had resided in Franklin Parish for the past 74 years. He was a retired farmer, a former Justice of the Peace in Ward 8, one of the founders and charter members of the REA, a charter member and deacon of the Boeuf River Baptist Church, Sunday School Superintendent and Sunday School teacher for more than 50 years. He was a member of the New Hope Lodge No. 328 F&AM, McGuire Chapter of Royal Arch Masons, and held a rank of Master Sgt. in the Home Guard during World War II. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA July 5, 1978 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Francis Rushing Funeral services for Mrs. Francis Rushing, 91, of Wisner were held at 11 a.m., July 1st, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was in Holly Grove Cemetery. Survivors include two daughters, Miss Lillie Mae Rushing, Wisner, Miss Hazel Rushing, Alexandria; one son, Felbert Rushing, Alexandria; one brother, Sam Linder, Archibald; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Belle Magee, Baskin and Cordie Mae Huckaby, Winnsboro.
