Interment was in Coax Cemetery near Winnsboro with Rev. Paul Brooks and Rev. W.W. Beville officiating. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Annie Clingan, Mangham; two sons, Edward Clingan Jr., Winnsboro and Billy Ray Clingan, Archibald; one daughter, Mrs. Estelle Seffins, Wisner; two brothers, Terry Clingan, Manghan and James Clingan, Gilbert; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Gray, Baskin and Mrs. Allie Reagan, Baskin; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. R.L. Cooks The Rev. R.L. Cooks, 87, died Sunday, in Denham Springs after a lengthy illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at 11 a.m., in Amite Baptist Church. The Rev. Cooks was a former pastor of the First Baptist Church of Gilbert, serving there for a number of years, and was also pastor of other churches in the area. Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery of Delhi with Rev. S.B. Boyette officiating. He was a member of Hillridge Baptist Church of Crowville and a retired farmer. Robert Rolen Funeral services for J. Robert Rolen, 79, of Winnsboro were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 24th, in Temple Baptist Church with Dr. Randall Sledge officiating. Interement was in New Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. He was a native of Winn Parish and had resided in Franklin Parish for the past 33 years. He was a retired farmer and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include four sons, James H. Rolen, David W. Rolen, both of Winnsboro, Herman H. Rolen, Seagraves, Tex., Louis W. Rolen, El Paso, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Frances Elaine Arnold, Baton Rouge; two brothers, John Rolen, Many and George Rolen, Bunkie; three sisters, Mrs. Aretha Warner, Winnsboro, Mrs. Bell Buchans, Jonesboro, and Mrs. Bertha Bratton, West Monroe; 15 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Interment was in New Winnsboro Cemetery, under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Williams died early Friday in a motorcycle-auto accident on U.S. 61 south of Vicksburg, Miss. She was a native and longtime resident of Winnsboro and a member of Temple Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Jerry Glen Williams, Winnsboro; her father, Howard Guimbellot, Winnsboro; her mother Mrs. Martha Hollinshead, U.S. Army, Korea; her step-mother, Mrs. Annette Guimbellot, Winnsboro; two brothers, Howard and William Oliver Guimbellot, both of Winnsboro; two sisters, Kimberly Ann Guimbellot, Winnsboro and Leigh Ann Bradshaw, Winnsboro; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. D.W.
