Mrs. Emma Bridges
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Emma Lee Bridges, 61, of Springhill, formerly of Winnsboro 
were held at 10 a.m., Thursday, April 19, in the Boeuf River Baptist Church with 
Rev. Jerry Phillips officiating.
 
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of Winnsboro First National 
Funeral Home.
 
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Etta Jo Bridges, Aurora, Colo.; one son, Ralph Lee Bridges, 
Springhill; two brothers, Albert Garcin, Winnsboro and Douglas Garcin, Shreveport; two sisters, 
Mrs. Alma Davis, Winnsboro and Mrs. Luella Cloud, Monroe. 
 
She was an employee of the Army Ammunition plant at Minden.
 
Pallbearers were Dale Cloud, Jay Braswell, Johnny Williams, Huey Garcin, Ronald Renfro, 
and David Broadway.
