Interment was in Holly Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Eddie Cooper and the Rev. Dr. Milton Williams officiating. He was self employed as a bookkeeper. Survivors include his wife, Olivia Dampier, Gilbert; one daughter, Mrs. Linda Posey, Gilbert; two sisters, Mrs. Bill Carroll, Wisner, Mrs. Mamie Easterling, Winnsboro; one brother, Cecil Dampier, Wisner; 1 grandson, Stacey Frith. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Graham Hale and the Rev. David Oliver officiating. She was a member of the Winnsboro Church of Christ.
