"Bill" Davis, Jr. 70, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 21, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Max Lee officiating. A native of Winnsboro, he was manager of the Winnsboro Ice Company for 41 years. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Winnsboro. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Ruby Johnston Davis, Winnsboro; 2 daughters, Mrs. Carolyn Donelson, Denver, Colo., Mrs. Jean Moses, Monroe; 5 brothers, Woodrow Davis, Winnsboro, Jim Davis, John Davis, Tommy Davis and Bobby Davis, of Houston, Tex.; 4 sisters, Mrs. Fannie Glasscock, Winnsboro, Mrs. Inez Phillips, Archibald, Mrs. Emmye Lanoski, Grand Isle, Mrs. Viva Tarver, Houston; and 3 grandchildren.
