Alice E. Gibbs
 
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice E. Gibbs, 82, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 16 in the Chapel of 
Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. 
Interment was in New Zion Cemetery with the Rev. Neal Fryer and the Rev. Denver Smith officiating.
Survivors include two daughters, Thelma Livingston, and Victoria Smith, both of Winnsboro; two brothers, 
Prentice Howell, Lake Charles and Jessie Howell, Winnsboro; one sister, Mrs. Eva Clingan, Winnsboro; 
13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Glen Ray Smith, Marshall Livingston, William Livingston, Ray Parks, Clarence Bernard 
and Walter Lee Purvis.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lola Hatton, 71, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, 
Nov. 18, in the Boeuf River 
Baptist Church with the Rev. Woodson McGuffee, the Rev. Daniel Corkery, and the 
Rev. C. T. Smith officiating.
 
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral 
Home.
 
Survivors include one son, L. R. Hatton Jr., Winnsboro; one daughter, Mrs. Noel 
Tramontana, Monroe; 8 sisters, Mrs. Naomi Brooks, Mrs. Virgie Gilmore, both of Winnsboro, 
Mrs. Ina Grant, Monroe, Mrs. Daisy Ensminger, Wisner, Mrs. Felix Forman, Ferriday, 
Mrs. Dorothy Paul, and Miss Beulah Forman, and Mrs. Wessie Morace, all of Monterey; 
1 brother, Jimmie Forman, Ferriday; 14 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
