"Buster" Crum Funeral services for James Clinton "Buster" Crum, 69, of Winnsboro were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 16, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Virgil Harris, the Rev. Ernest Oliver and the Rev. Charles Parker officiating. A native of Fort Necessity, he was born December 14, 1912. He was a retired farmer. He died on Feb. 15, 1982, of a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Rosa Lee Crum, Fort Necessity; two sons, Jerry Crum and Clinton Crum, both of Fort Necessity; two daughters, Mrs. Kathy Atcheson, Fort Necessity and Mrs Opal Provarise, Lorman, Miss.; seven brothers, Earl Crum, Nolan Crum, Tommy Crum, Ray Crum, Huey Crum, W. E. Crum, and Sula Crum, all of Fort Necessity; 17 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Grandsons served as pallbearers. ------------------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 10, 1982 Submitted April 2009 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Robert Miller Funeral services for Robert Miller, 57, Wisner, were conducted at 10 a.m. Feb. 2 in the Winnsboro First National Chapel with the Rev. Richard Mobley officiating. He died Jan. 27 in the Catahoula Parish Hospital in Jonesville of a short illness. Final rites were held in Providence Memorial Cemetery. He was born Oct. 18, 1924, in Pickens, S.C. ----------------------------------------------- The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 10, 1982 Submitted September 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mrs. Susie Thomason Funeral services for Mrs. Susie Dampier Thomason, 96, of Wisner, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9, at the Winnsboro First National Funeral Home Chapel. Mrs. Thomason died Saturday at the Catahoula Parish Hospital, Jonesville, of a long illness. Final rites were conducted in the Holly Grove Cemetery. She was born Jan. 2, 1886, in Louisiana. Survivors include one son, W. E. Thomason, Canton, N.C.; one daughter, Mrs. Melissa Arno of Monroe; two brothers, K. G.
