Ivey Bill Womack
Funeral services for Ivey Bill Womack, 74, of Winnsboro were 
held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 1, in the Chapel of Winnsboro 
First National Funeral Home.
Interment was in Hurricane Grove Cemetery in Sikes with the Rev. 
Bill Robertson, Jr., The Rev. Eddie Cooper officiating.
A native of Winnfield, he was born April 15, 1908. He was a farmer 
and a veteran of World War II. He died on August 30, 1982 of a lengthy 
illness. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Arah Crain Womack, Winnsboro; two daughters, 
Mrs. Mavis O'Rourke, Shreveport and Mrs. Violet Robertson, Winnsboro; one brother, 
Earl Womack, Winnfield; one sister, Vella Parker, Winnfield; eight grandchildren 
and 12 great-grandchildren.
