Julian H. Stephens
 
Funeral services for Julian H. Stephens, 69, of Wisner were held at 
2:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 11, in the First United Methodist Church in Wisner, 
with the Rev. Oakley Edwards and the Rev. James Lamkin officiating.
 
Interment was in South Central Cemetery near Wisner under the direction of 
Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
A native of Wisner, he was born Nov. 23, 1912. He was a retired farmer 
and a member of First United Methodist Church of Wisner. He died on 
Sunday, Oct. 10, 1982 of a lengthy illness.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alice Cupit Stephens, Wisner; 
one brother, Earl E. Stephens, Wisner; and a host of nieces and nephews.
 
Pallbearers were Terry Stephens, Steve Stephens, Donald Stephens, 
Lynn James, Mert Girod and Bennie Richardson.
