Interment was in South Central Cemetery near Wisner with the Rev. Oakley Edwards officiating. A native of Kelly, La., she was born Dec. 17, 1908. She was a housewife. She died on Feb. 13, 1984, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two grandchildren, Larry Brown and Carol Bradfield, both of Shreveport; two brothers, J. C. Eubanks, Urania and Lester L. Eubanks, Victoria, Texas; one step-son, William E. Walters Funeral services for Mrs. Bessie B. Walters, 82, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 19, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Winnsboro with the Rev. Max Lee and the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. A native of Winn Parish, she was born Oct. 28, 1901. She was a retired school teacher, a member of First Baptist Church of Winnsboro, member of Mizpah Chapter Order of the Eastern Star, Winnsboro Garden Club and the Retired Teachers Assn. She died on Feb. 18, 1984, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Mary Alyce Parsons, Houston, Texas; one brother, Otto Busby, Winnsboro; two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Walters, Winnsboro and Mrs. Estelle Ezell, Vicksburg, Miss. Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery with the Rev. James Bonner and the Rev. Marion Collier officiating. A native of McCall Creek, Miss., he was born Nov. 24, 1897. He was a retired farmer. He died on Feb. 19, 1984, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Dora Parker Wroten, Winnsboro; three daughters, Margie D'Trapani, New York, N. Y., Edith Berkemeyer, Crowville, Bonnie Small, Tuscon, Ariz., and Bill Wroten, Minden; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers, Edgar Wroten, Minden and Wendell Wroten, Crowville; one sister, Mabel Peters, Crowville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
