Archie Isadore Allbritton
 
Funeral services for Archie Isadore Allbritton, 87, of Wisner, were held at 2 p.m., 
Sept. 25, in the Wisner Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Benny Jones and the 
Rev. David Oliver officiating.
 
Interment was in South Central Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First 
National Funeral Home.
 
A native of Jena, he was born Jan. 17, 1897. He was a farmer. He died on Sept. 24, 1984 
following a lengthy illness.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Celia M. Allbritton; four sons, Jessie Allbritton, 
Henry Allbritton, Archie Allbritton, and Frank Allbritton, all of Wisner; four daughters, 
Mrs. Mary Francis Herring, Fayette, Miss.; Annie Bell McDaniel, Irene Lee and Betty Jean Parker, 
all of Wisner; 27 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.

Janie Mondel Beaube
 
Funeral services for Janie Mondel Beaube, 84, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, 
Sept. 10, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Cardin and the Rev. Wilmer Hendry 
officiating.
 
A native of Laurel, Miss., she was born June 28, 1900. She was a member of Boeuf Prairie 
Baptist Church. She died on Sept. 8, 1984, following a lengthy illness.
 
Survivors include two sons, Morris Killen, Kerman, Calif., Dennis Killen, Winnsboro; two 
daughters, Lorene Wallace, Chase and Winnifred Strittman, Fayette, Miss.; two step-sons, 
Lewis Beaube, Gilbert and Grover Beaube, Jigger; one step-daughter, Martha Strittman, 
Fayette, Miss.; one brother, Ted Davis, Grayson; two sisters, Ivess Strickland, Hebert 
and Fannie Stapleton, Columbia; 14 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 11 
great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren.
 
Pallbearers were Rickey Wallace, Doyle Gene Jackson, Lee Payne, Kenneth Stickland, 
Troy Manning, Jerry Manning and Gary Davis

Frances Alma Harper
 
Funeral services for Miss Frances Alma Harper, 75, of Crowville, were held at 4 p.m., 
Monday, Sept. 24, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery.
 
A native of Winn Parish, she was born July 5, 1909. She was a member of Crowville United 
Methodist Church and a retired elementary school teacher at Crowville Elementary School. 
She had resided in Crowville for most of her life. She died on Sept. 23, 1984, following a 
lengthy illness.
 
Survivors include one brother, J. A. Harper, Crowville; one sister, Mrs. Inez Harper (sic) 
Street, West Monroe; and a number of nieces and nephews.
 
Pallbearers were Joel Street, William Street. Jimmy Street, Charlie Hatten, Jeffrey Hatten 
and Scott Hatten.

William 'Pete' A. Tarver
 
Funeral services for William "Pete" A. Tarver, 66, of Natchitoches, formerly of Monroe, 
were held at 4 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of 
Winnsboro.
 
Interment was in New Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Floyd Hawthorne officiating.
 
A native of Winnsboro, he was born Aug. 2, 1918. He was a retired construction worker. 
He died on Sept. 21, 1984, following a lengthy illness.
 
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Louise Tarver, Natchitoches; one brother, Raleigh "Tallie" 
Tarver, Monroe; five sisters, Mrs. Theo Hendry, Mrs. Lillian Hendry and Mrs. Lucille Hendry,
 all of Winnsboro, Mrs. Margaret Burlew, Jigger and Mrs. Robbie Nash, Leesville.
