Benny Jones and the Rev. David Oliver officiating. Interment was in South Central Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. A native of Jena, he was born Jan. 17, 1897. He was a farmer. He died on Sept. 24, 1984 following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Celia M. Allbritton; four sons, Jessie Allbritton, Henry Allbritton, Archie Allbritton, and Frank Allbritton, all of Wisner; four daughters, Mrs. Mary Francis Herring, Fayette, Miss.; Annie Bell McDaniel, Irene Lee and Betty Jean Parker, all of Wisner; 27 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. ********************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA September 12, 1984 Submitted Jan. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Janie Mondel Beaube Funeral services for Janie Mondel Beaube, 84, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, Sept. 10, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Cardin and the Rev. Wilmer Hendry officiating. A native of Laurel, Miss., she was born June 28, 1900. She was a member of Boeuf Prairie Baptist Church. She died on Sept. 8, 1984, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons, Morris Killen, Kerman, Calif., Dennis Killen, Winnsboro; two daughters, Lorene Wallace, Chase and Winnifred Strittman, Fayette, Miss.; two step-sons, Lewis Beaube, Gilbert and Grover Beaube, Jigger; one step-daughter, Martha Strittman, Fayette, Miss.; one brother, Ted Davis, Grayson; two sisters, Ivess Strickland, Hebert and Fannie Stapleton, Columbia; 14 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and six step-great-grandchildren. Interment was in Crowville Masonic Cemetery. A native of Winn Parish, she was born July 5, 1909. She was a member of Crowville United Methodist Church and a retired elementary school teacher at Crowville Elementary School. She had resided in Crowville for most of her life. She died on Sept. 23, 1984, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include one brother, J. A. Harper, Crowville; one sister, Mrs. Inez Harper (sic) Street, West Monroe; and a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Joel Street, William Street. He died on Sept. 21, 1984, following a lengthy illness.
