Kenneth Thornton

Funeral services for Kenneth Thornton, 72, of Winnsboro, were held 
at 2 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, in the Chapel 
of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating.
A native of Boise, Idaho, he was born Nov. 5, 1912. He was a retired 
serviceman. He died on Jan. 4, 1985, following a lengthy illness.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Alta J. Thornton, Winnsboro; two brothers, 
Elton Thornton and Wendell Thornton; four sisters, Fern Miller, Wendala 
Koelling, Shirley Sweetland and Iva Fuhriman.
Pallbearers were Billy Polk, Billy Sullivan, Wayne George, William Fisher, 
Jerry Harris, Jordan Harris and Allen Harris.
