Interment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Parker and the Rev. Wilmer Hendry officiating. A native of Columbia, he was born April 7, 1972. He died on April 20, 1985, following a brief illness. Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Richmond, Gilbert; two brothers, Joel Richmond and Matthew Richmond, both of Gilbert; one sister, Dana Kaye Richmond, Gilbert; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. H. M. Richmond, Gilbert and maternal grandparents, the Rev. and Mrs. Ray McMurray, Gilbert. Pallbearers were Pete Richmond, Tim Richmond, Maloy Richmond, Jr., Billy Olivio, Ronnie McMurry, Steve McMurry, Jimmie Day and Barry Knox. ******************************************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA April 24, 1985 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Iley Simons Funeral services for Iley Simons, 83, of Winnsboro, were held at 3 p.m., Sunday, April 21, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Wayne Stroud, the Rev. Cedric Hedrick and the Rev. Paul Amstuz officiating. He was a retired State Highway Department worker and was a member and deacon of the Sardis Baptist Church. He died on April 18, 1985, following a brief illness. Survivors include his wife, Gladys Simon (sic) Simons, Winnsboro; two sons, Charles Simon (sic) Simons and Donnie Simon (sic) Simons, both of Winnsboro; one daughter, Dorothy Tarver, Winnsboro; seven grandchildren, Larry Tarver, Garland Tarver, Kenny Simons, Neal Simons, Candy Massey and Freda Neilson, all of Winnsboro and Kathy Weston of Mangham; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Sonny Manning, Earl Albritton, Bobby Ray Hart, L. R. Hatton, Billy Joe Dupuy, and Dolphus Tarver. ******************************************************************
