Hayles Mrs. Edna Mae Porter ********************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA July 31, 1985 Submitted Feb. 2006 by Glenda Warner Boyd Otis Ferguson Funeral services for Otis Ferguson, 81, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 28 in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery, with the Rev. Bruce Cardin and the Rev. Roy Moore officiating. A native of Newton, Miss., he was born Dec. 30, 1898. He was a retired farmer and a member of New Hope Lodge No. 328. He died on July 26, 1985. Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Marie Wilson, Mrs. Carrie Chevallier, Mrs. Otis Cecil Taylor, Mrs. Espie Lee Powell, all of Winnsboro, Mrs. Lula Ann Bryant, Tyler, Texas and Mrs. Violet Franco, Vicksburg, Miss.; one brother, S. C. Ferguson Sr., Clayton; two sisters, Mrs. Estelle Turner, Fort Necessity and Mrs. Zelle Lively, Bastrop; 17 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild and a number of nieces and nephews. ********************************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA July 3, 1985 Submitted January 2007 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Johnny Royce Fussell Funeral services for Johnny Royce Fussell, 43, were held at 4 p.m. June 28, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was in Lone Cedar Cemetery with the Rev. Charles Parker officiating. A native of Jena, he was born Feb. 25, 1942. He was an oil field worker. He died in Oklahoma City on June 25, 1985, following a brief illness. Survivors include two sons, Johnnie Royce Fussell, Jr., and Kenneth Lee Fussell, both of Hobbs, N. M.; one daughter, Mrs. Barbara Ann Polk, Winnsboro; five brothers, Virgil Fussell, Newellton, Joe Fussell, Eunice, Edgar Fussell, Angola, Ray Young, Tulsa, Okla., Frank Enterkin, Jr., Winnfield; and five grandchildren. Hayles Funeral services for Joseph F. Hayles, 77, of Lake Charles were held at 2 p.m., Sunday, July 7 at the graveside at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville. He died on July 5, 1985. Survivors include three sons, Jessie Hayles, Lake Charles, Erving Hayles, Midland, Texas and Huey Dewayne Hayles, San Antonio, Texas; one brother, E. B. Bruce Cardin officiating. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. A native of Paxton, she was born May 14, 1912. She was a housewife. She died on July 23, 1985, following a brief illness. Survivors include one son, Glynn Porter, Winnsboro; and two grandchildren, Rena Porter and Nolan Porter, both of Hammond. Pallbearers were Bud Johnston, Billy Ray Johnston, Don Daray, Dolphus Tarver, G. B.
