Wayne Smith officiating. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. A native of Start, she was born Oct. 13, 1914. She was a housewife and a member of the Apostolic Church of Jesus Christ of Winnsboro. She died on Nov. 5, 1985. Survivors include her husband, Charles S. Blaylock, Winnsboro; four sons, Floyd Blaylock and Charles Ray Blaylock, both of Winnsboro, Dennis Blaylock, Marion and Jerry Blaylock, Delhi; five daughters, Francis Jones, Jackson, Miss., Pauline Steadman, Shreveport, Omega Duke, Monroe, Glenda Nichols and Barbara Nichols, both of Winnsboro; two brothers, Timmie Eppinette and Ezra Eppinette, both of Monroe; one sister, Annie Moore, Bastrop; 30 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Dale Hitt, James Taylor, Van Winstead, Carlos Leake, Sammie Nobles and Don Lenoir. ********************************************************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA November 27, 1985 Submitted Feb. 2006 by Glenda Warner Boyd Wilson Mellion 'Bud' Dean Funeral services for Wilson Mellion "Bud" Dean, 75, of Winnsboro, were held at 10:30 a.m., Nov. 23, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Joyner, Dr. Billy Thomas and the Rev. Mac Walker officiating. A native of Pollock, he was born Aug. 10, 1910. He was a retired funeral director and insurance agent and a florist. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church of Winnsboro and was an active member of Woodman of the World Camp No. 440 for 40 years. He died on Nov. 21, 1985, following a brief illness. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lessie Dean, Winnsboro; three sons, J. W. Dean and Robby Dean, both of Winnsboro and Joe Dean of West Monroe; two sisters, Mrs. Curtis Cobb and Mrs. G. C. Busby, both of Winnsboro; six grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Harold Robinson, John Thomas, Roy Bledsoe, Don Kemp, Mert Girod, John A. Cuny, Houston Seymour and Ray Thomas. *****************************************************************
