Winnie Cupples Wheelus
 
Services for Winnie Cupples Wheelus, 85, formerly of Winnsboro, 
were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Temple Baptist Church in Winnsboro 
with the Revs. Rodger Johnson and Marion Collier officiating.
Burial was in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Kilpatrick
Funeral Home of Monroe.
Mrs. Wheelus died Thursday at North Monroe Community Hospital 
following a lengthy illness.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Sterlington, a
charter member of Temple Baptist in Winnsboro and a retired 
saleslady for Seligman's Department Store in Winnsboro.
Survivors include one daughter, Pansye Sanders of Sterlington; one 
sister, Mae Ola Wheelus of Monroe; two grandchildren and four
great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Wheelus, W. H. Wheelus, John A. Curry,
Ray Thomas, Elton Elridge and Don Kemp.
