Cladie Jenkins officiating. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery near Winnsboro under the direction of the funeral home. Mrs. Shirley died Sunday at Franklin Parish Hospital in Winnsboro after a long illness. Survivors include her husband, Grady Lee Shirley of Winnsboro; one son, Donnie Shirley of Winnsboro; one daughter, Jo Ann Bennett of Winnsboro; one brother, M. D. Cooksey of Baskin; two sisters, Mrs. Ida Mae Owen and Lucile Cooksey, both of Monroe; four grandchildren. Pallbearers will be J. C. Winters, Ira Browning, Buddy Fowler, Carl Grey, Keith Grey, Theodore Norwood. ***Submitter's notes: Evalene was born July 10, 1914 in Philadelphia, Mississippi and died October 26, 1986 in Winnsboro, Louisiana. *************************************************** The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA October 29, 1986 Submitted Feb. 2006 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Trellous Franklin Ward Funeral services for Trellous Franklin Ward, 70, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 23 in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery with the Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Mr. Ward died on Wednesday, Oct. 22, 1986, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Marie Bernice Ward, Winnsboro; two daughters, Sherry Matthews and Patsy Ward, both of Winnsboro; two sisters, Hilda W. Teekel, Baton Rouge and Alex Ramsey, West Monroe and one granddaughter, Angela Matthews.
