Mabel Clair Williams
 
Funeral services for Mabel Clair Williams, 84, of Winnsboro, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, 
Oct. 6 at Boeuf River Baptist Church with the Rev. Bruce Cardin officiating.
 
Interment was in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro.
 
She was a member of Boeuf River Baptist Church. She died on Oct. 4, 1987, following a lengthy illness.
 
Survivors include her husband, John Williams, Winnsboro; one son, John B. Williams, Bossier City; 
one daughter, Geraldine Hood, Port Arthur, Texas; two half-sisters, Mrs. Luther Lanier, Crowville and 
Jeanette Hood, Victoria, Texas; two step-brothers, Alvin and George Ross, Winnsboro; seven grandchildren 
and 11 great-grandchildren.
 
Pallbearers were David Williams, Timothy Williams, Johnny Williams, James Hood, Richard Gibson 
and Charles Hazleton.
