Olive Baptist Church of Feriday with the Rev. Edmon Watson officiating. Interment was in the Ferriday Cemetery, under the direction of Richardson and Sims Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Survivors include one granddaughter, Dyanthlyn Clay of Mansfield; and two great-grandchildren, Terrance Clay and LaGuainque Clay of Mansfield. Pallbearers were Joseph Reed, L.V. Larry Eubanks officiating. Interment was in South Central Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. She was a retired housewife and a member of South Central Baptist Church since 1927. She died on Dec. 12, 1987, following a brief illness. She was a housewife. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Wisner. She died on Aug. 26, 1987, following a lengthy illness. She died on Dec. 4., 1987, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons, Samuel Lee and Huey Lee, both of Baskin; one daughter, Peggy Taylor, Baskin; one sister, Maude S. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Tom Crosby and the Rev. Daniel Corkery officiating. A lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, he was a retired school principal and inspector with the Department of Agriculture. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, V.F.W. and Winnsboro Lodge No 246 F&AM. He was a veteran of World War II. He died on Nov. 8, 1987, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two daughters, Merle S. Davis and Ethel Williams, both of Winnsboro; four sons, Ardwayne Stapp, Mangham, Roy N. Stapp Jr., Charlotte, N.C., John S. Stapp and Paul F. A lifelong resident of Franklin Parish, he was a retired farmer and a member of Coax Baptist Church. He died on Dec. 9, 1987, following a lengthy illness. Survivors include two sons, James Whitney and Bobby Whitney, both of Winnsboro; a sister, Alice McClelland of Winnsboro; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
