Interment was in Providence Memorial Cemetery with Dr. Max Lee officiating. A native of Owasso, Okla., he was born March 17, 1922. He moved to Winnsboro in June 1956. He was past president of the Winnsboro Chamber of Commerce, a retired farmer, an optometrist, businessman, and entrepreneur. He was a former Lion's Club member and a verteran of World War II. He died on Oct. 12, 1989. Survivors include his wife, Mary Franks, Winnsboro.
