Burial was in Gwin Cemetery in Mangham under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Dollar died Nov. 12, 1989 at Glenwood Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. A lifelong resident of Richland and Franklin parishes, Mrs. Dollar was a member of the Winnsboro Church of Christ. She recently moved to Monroe and was a member of the Forsythe Ave. Church of Christ. Mrs. Dollar was a licensed practical nurse, working in various hospitals and nursing homes in Richland and Franklin parishes. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Mr. Olan Dollar Sr., and Carolyn Ruth Dollar. He was a veteran of World War II, where he served in the Army Air Corps. and was employed for John Manville in Natchez, Miss. for 28 years before his retirement. He died on November 8, 1989. Bruce Cardin and the Rev. Woodson McGuffie officiating. Masonic rites were held at the graveside at Ogden Cemetery near Winnsboro, under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. He was raised a Master Mason in New Hope Lodge No. 328 in Winnsboro in 1944. He worked promoting the York Rite and became known for his willingness to help confer the degrees and orders of the York Rite. Although he worked in many degrees, his specialty was that in Principal Sojourner in the Royal Arch Degree. Most of the chapters in northeast Louisiana depended on him to perform this somewhat lengthy part of the ritual. It has been estimated that he helped confer the Degree of the Royal Arch on possibly 500 men over a long and active Masonic career. He died on Nov. 25, 1989. Survivors include his wife, Jennie G. Ingram, Winnsboro; two sons, Carl D. Ingram, Ruston and J. A. Ingram Jr., Winnsboro; two brothers, I. B.
