The Rev. David Oliver and the Rev. Jack Hagar officiated. Burial was in South Central Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mrs. Allbritton died Wednesday, Dec. 20, at Franklin Parish Hospital. She is survived by three sons, Henry Allbritton, Jesse Allbritton and Archie Allbritton, all of Wisner; three daughters, Betty Jean Parker and Irene Lee, Wisner; and Mary Herring, Fayette, Miss., two sisters, Hattie Green, Bridgeport, Tex.; Louise Podnar, West Frankford, Ill.; and one brother, Frank Mach, Dallas, Tex.; 29 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Grandsons served as pallbearers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Minnie Belle Ezell Funeral services for Minnie Belle Ezell, 79, of Winnsboro, were held on Thursday, Dec. 7, in the Chapel of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery near Winnsboro, with the Rev. John Williams officiating. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. She died on Dec. 6, 1989, following a brief illness. Survivors include one son, Claude Ezell, Winnsboro; two sisters, Sarah Finley, Crowville and Alma Graves, Tacoma, Wash.; and four grandchildren, Jerry, Garwin, Jennifer and Gay Ezell. Pallbearers were Johnny Ballance, John Murphy, Bernard Cook, Glynn Finley, Ricky Campbell and Melvin Finley. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ida Mae Byas Howard Funeral services for Ida Mae Byas Howard, age 59, Courthouse Rd., Winnsboro, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Davis Temple Church of God In Christ with Elder Enuch Davis officiating. Burail will be in Oakley Cemetery near Gilbert under the direction of Davis and Jones Funeral Home of Ferriday. Mrs. Howard died at her home on Dec. 9, 1989 following a sudden illness. The body will lie in state Thursday at the church from 10 a.m. until services begin. Mrs. Howard was a member of St. Paul No 1 Church of Wisner. She is survived by two sisters, one brother and a host of nieces and nephews. *************************************************************************** Elmer H. Norman Funeral services for Elmer H. Norman, 77, of Rayville, were held on Thursday, Dec. 7, in the Chapel of Brown-Holley Funeral Home of Rayville. Interment was in Lynn Cemetery, Archibald, with the Rev. Jim Wolfe and the Rev. Robert Martin officiating. He was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Rayville. He was a veteran of World War II. He was born Jan. 24, 1912 and died on Dec. 6, 1989. Survivors include his wife, Lillie Surles Norman, Rayville; two step-sons, Clarence Weems, Pineville and Jasper "Shortie" Weems, Rayville; one step-daughter, Clara Hales, Rayville; two brothers, C.Q Norman, Weston, La., Nathan Norman, Winnsboro; one half-brother, Riley James Powell, Columbia; four sisters, Thresa Simon, Daisy Underwood, both of Winnsboro, Geneva Malone, Archibald, and Juanita Wright, Winnsboro; eight nieces and nephews. Miss Otwell died Monday, Dec. 25, at Richland Parish Hospital following a lengthy illness. She is survived by three brothers, Ernest Otwell, Ft. Necessity; Ele Wayne Otwell Jr., Natchitoches; and Quinton Otwell, Hattiesburg, Miss.; and a host of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be H. L. Robinson, O. W. She was retired from International Paper Co. She died on Dec. 9, 1989. Survivors include five sisters, Mrs. W.L "Lillie" Weems, Winnsboro, Mrs. J.E. "Mildred" King, West Monroe, Mrs.G.C. Floyd Hawthorne and the Rev. Fred Foster officiating. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. A life-long resident of Franklin Parish, she was born Feb. 28, 1907. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. E. Russell. She had been a member of the United Pentecostal Church for 47 years. She died on Thursday, Dec. 14, 1989. Survivors include three daughters, Laura Faye Russell and Johnnie Mae Nichols, both of Winnsboro and Frankie Lea Humphries, Coalinga, Calif.; one brother, Oakley W. Welch, Winnsboro; two sisters, Hettie Hamilton, Jacksonville, Fla., and Flora Streeter, Waco, Texas; and eight grandchildren, Ricky Nichols, Johnny Dilley, Maxine Marsh, Alene White, Darlene Frame, Bobby Humphries, Carolyn Rominicko and Glenda Humphries. Warner Funeral services for George W. Warner, 93, of Winnsboro, were held on Friday, Dec. 8, in the Chapel of Winnsboro, First National Funeral home. Interment was in Ogden Cemetery near Liddieville, with the Rev. C.T. Smith officiating. A native of Winnfield, he was born Oct. 3, 1896. He was a retired farmer. He died on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 1989. Survivors include one son, Lloyd Warner, Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Meadis Stringer, Grapevine, Texas; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
