James Landis Johnston


Funeral services for James Landis Johnston, 78, of Winnsboro, were held Monday, 
January 15, 1990, in the Chapel of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home, with the 
Rev. Bobby Brown officiating. Burial followed in the Ogden Cemetery under the direction of 
Winnsboro First National Funeral Home.
Mr. Johnston died Friday, January 12, 1990, at King's Guest Home in Winnsboro.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Florence Johnston, Winnsboro; two sons, 
John Johnston and David Johnston, both of West Monroe; two sisters, Lucy Brown 
and Edna Mae Woods, both of Fort Necessity; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Nephews served as pallbearers.
