Emmett Belgard and Rev. L. F. LaPrairie officiating. Burial will follow in Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mrs. Brown died Monday, February 12, 1990 in Natchez, MS. Mrs. Brown was a lifelong resident of Franklin Parish and Sunday School teacher for 50 years in the Free Methodist Church. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her husband, Enoch A. Brown, Sr. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Eros Whitsel, Ferriday; one son, Enoch A. Brown, Jr., Jacksonville, FL.; two brothers, Wesley N. Williams, Cullen, LA; Col. Joseph B. Williams, Ruston; four grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Raymond Williams, Kent Bennett, E. A. Brown, Wade Robinson and James Paul Smith. ------------------------------------------------------ The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA February 7, 1990 Submitted August 2009 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Mayola Wheelus Funeral services for Mayola Wheelus, 86, of Monroe, were held Friday, February 2, 1990, at Winnsboro First National Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Chapman and Rev. Milton Williams officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mrs. Wheelus died Tuesday, January 30, 1990 at King's Guest Home. Survivors include one daughter, Helen W. Wells, Baton Rouge; four sons, W. A. Wheelus, Winnsboro; Ralph Wheelus, Lawrenceville, GA.; James Doyle Wheelus, Shreveport; Shelby Wheelus, San Antonio, TX; several nieces and nephews, 15 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great grandchild.
