Stavinoha Lottie Wiggins ************************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA June 20, 1990 Submitted July 2009 by: Glenda Warner Boyd Irma Llaine Purser Winnfield -- Funeral services for Mrs. Irma Llaine Purser, age 82, a former resident of Winnsboro, were held June 13, 1990 at Southern Funeral Homes chapel in Winnfield with the Rev. Steve Caraway officiating. Burial followed in Providence Memorial Cemetery in Franklin Parish under the direction of Southern Funeral Homes of Winnfield. Mrs. Purser died June 12, 1990 at Humana Hospital in Winnfield. Mrs. Purser was preceded in death in 1973 by her husband, Paul Purser, former director of Northeast Louisiana Vocational School in Winnsboro. Mrs. Purser is survived by one daughter, Betty Joe Jackson, Winnfield; two sons, Donald R. Purser, Winnfield, and Robert L. Stavinoha Graveside services for Mr. Fredrick B. Stavinoha, age 76, of Winnsboro were held June 19, 1990 at Ogden Cemetery in Liddieville with the Rev. Floyd Hawthorne officiating and Winnsboro First National Funeral Home directing. Mr. Stavinoha died June 18, 1990 at Franklin Parish Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include one son, Daniel Stavinoha, Winnsboro; two sisters, Helen Zaplen, LaGrange, Tex., and Lillie Myer, Needville, Tex., and two brothers, Edward Stavinoha, Rosenburg, Tex., and Louis Stavinoha, LaGrange, Tex. ********************************************* The Franklin Sun Winnsboro, LA June 6, 1990 Submitted by: Glenda Warner Boyd Lottie Wiggins Swan, Tex. --- Funeral services for Mrs. Lottie Wiggins, age 73, Swan, Tex., a former resident of Jigger, were held June 3, 1990 at Swan Baptist Church with the Rev. Dennis Terry and the Rev. Gary Newman officiating. Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery in Winnsboro under the direction of Caudle-Rutledge Funeral Home of Lindale, Tex. Mrs. Wiggins died June 1, 1990 at U. T. Health Science Center in Tyler, Tex. following a short illness. Mrs. Wiggins was a housewife. She moved to Swan from Louisiana seven years ago. Survivors include her husband, Statton Wiggins, Swan; two sons, Bobby Joe Wiggins, Carthage, Tex., and Kent Wiggins, Swan; 10 foster children. J. C. McNease, Pat Lockey, Donald McNease, Jerry Temple, Wanda LeBeaux, Eddie Quimby, Mike Oram, Velma Oram, Jeff Oram and Travis Oram; two sisters, Clara Sowell, Crowville, and Emma Wood, Jigger; one brother, Nolan Sanders, Jigger; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
