Ron Charrier officiating. Interment followed in Harris Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Biggs died Thursday, Nov. 29 at North Monroe Hospital following a lengthy illness. Survivors include his wife, Opal Lewis Biggs, Winnsboro; one daughter, Sue Elliott, Crowville; two sisters, Ezell Rodgers, Haile; Ethel LaBorde, Winnsboro; two brothers, Tom Biggs, Winnsboro; Fred Biggs Jr., Monroe; and five grandchildren. DeVille Sr. Funeral services for Frank C. DeVille Sr., 60, of Oceanside, Cal., were held Monday, Nov. 26, 1990 at Eternal Hills Mortuary Chapel in Oceanside with Rev. David Plank officiating. Military graveside services were conducted Thursday, Nov. 27 at Eternal Hill Memorial Park. Mr. DeVille died Nov. 22, 1990 in Oceanside. He was a retired U. S. Marine and worked at Camp Pendleton. Mr. DeVille served in Korea and Vietnam and was awarded the Purple Heart. Leroy Dickinson Jr. officiating. Burial followed at Legion Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home. Mr. Ezell died Nov. 26 at North Monroe Community Hospital. He was retired from W. E. Sawmill in Newellton and La. State Hwy. Department. Mr. Ezell was a member of Baskin Baptist Church. Burial followed in Providence Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Winnsboro. Mrs. Fritz died Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Monroe following an extended illness. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic church and a graduate of Northeast Jr. College. Mrs. Fritz was preceded in death by her husband, Albert C. Fritz and a brother and sister. Survivors include her aunt, Clara Brock, Winnsboro; one niece, Barbara Fuglein, Slidell; two nephews, Charles Cornett, Shreveport and John Cornett, Williamsburg, Va. She was a native of Franklin Parish, but had resided in Ouachita Parish since 1962. Burial was at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mr. Martin died Tuesday, Dec. 11 at Parkview Guest Care Center after a lengthy illness. He was a retired construction worker and a member of Iron Workers Local No. 710 in Monroe. Mr. Martin was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and at the time of his death was the oldest deacon there. He was a Master Mason, member of Eastern Star Masonic Lodge No. 151 F&AM of Winnfield. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Nell Clark, Winnfield; two sons, Thomas Martin, Winnfield; Mack Vernon, Winnfield; three half sisters, Bertie Simmons, Vicksburg, Miss., Gladys Cole, Jackson, Miss.; Myrtle Williams, New Orleans; two half brothers, L. Leroy Dickerson, Rev. S. B. Boyette and Rev. Virgil Jones officiating. Interment followed at Providence Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Winnsboro First National Funeral Home. Mr. Wiggington died Tuesday, Dec. 18, at St. Francis Medical Center in Monroe. He was a deacon and Sunday school teacher at the Baskin Baptist Church. Mr. Wiggington was on the board of directors of North Franklin Waterworks, a veteran of WWII and a retired superintendent of the La. Highway Dept. of Transportation and Development. He is survived by his wife, Pauline McNair Wiggington, Baskin; one daughter, Shirley W. Beumer, Denver, Co.; two sisters, Mary Lee Robins, Santa Clara, Ca.; Louise R. Watson, Rayville; one brother, Billy Rainer, Shreveport; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
